Blake E. Youngblood, CRNP, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner, and is in collaborative practice with Dr. Maxcie Sikora. Blake’s medical practice experience is in pediatrics, adolescent and adult allergy, asthma and immunology. Blake wanted nothing more than to continue her practice in the field of allergy and asthma after moving to Birmingham. Originally from Knoxville, TN, Birmingham has easily become her second home. Blake graduated from Samford University’s Nursing program, and worked in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. She completed Samford’s Family Nurse Practitioner program, graduating with a master’s of science in nursing. In 2016, she obtained NACEB certification as a Certified Asthma Educator. Blake loves what she does and has a passion for people and her patients. Blake is an excellent diagnostician and her goal is always to ensure that her patients understand their diagnosis, as well as their treatment plan. She understands that taking the time to educate the patient and family is of utmost importance in the overall success of the patient’s outcome. In her free time, Blake enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and family, outdoor activities of all kinds, painting, photography, and exercise.
