Abigail Gingerich, CRNP
Abigail Gingerich, CRNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is working in collaboration with Dr. Sunena Argo. Abigail completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Minnesota in 2009 and her Master of Science in Nursing at Penn State University in 2014. Her background includes years of emergency nursing, in both the RN and FNP roles. She has also worked internationally among Latinos and speaks medical Spanish fluently. Abigail recently returned to the US after spending 2 ½ years in Peru, working at a mission hospital high in the Andes Mountains. While in Peru, she became passionate about helping patients achieve the highest quality of life possible.
She loves educating patients on what is causing their specific symptoms and what can be done, both naturally and with medications, to improve their conditions. She believes that evidence-based practice should be tailored to meet each patient’s specific needs. Abigail lives in Birmingham with her husband and her two little children. She spends as much time outdoors as possible, playing with her children, hiking, and camping.
