Maxcie Sikora, M.D.

Since I am a naturally curious person, the field of allergy and immunology has been the perfect choice as a profession. Every day, the understanding of the immune system’s role in the overall health of our bodies grows.  To be a part of this process is very exciting. It is also very rewarding to pass this new knowledge on to my patients to help improve their quality of life.

As a lifelong allergy sufferer, I understand the importance of appropriate medications and procedures in treatment. Food allergy is one of my interests because it affects every aspect of a patient’s life as well as his or hers family’s life. Assisting families with the diagnosis, avoidance measures, lifestyle changes, and treatment of allergies is very rewarding.  With appropriate management, my patients are able to lead healthy and productive lives. As an allergist, I strive to always provide up-to-date patient care with kindness, humility, and respect.

I have been working with Ochsner Allergy Clinic in New Orleans and am happy to be
relocating to Alabama Allergy and Asthma Center and look forward to meeting you.
